The German 3x3 basketball players prevailed in an impressive tournament and sensationally won Olympic gold. Svenja Brunckhorst, Sonja Greinacher, Elisa Mevius and Marie Reichert triumphed in the final in Paris with a narrow 17:16 against Spain. In doing so, they made history and won the first German Olympic medal in basketball.
